When Trish Bryant saw Tinker Federal Credit Union’s “Thankful for You” contest on social media, she instantly thought of her father, Bill Bryant. “I am thankful for my dad,” Trish wrote. “He helps the community and stands up for human rights, and he is the best dad and greatest pawpaw to my kids.”
When he’s not working as a researcher, Bill volunteers as a member and former president of the Oklahoma Chapter of the United Nations Association. “He is an advocate for people, for animals, for anybody or anything that can’t stand up for themselves or need help standing up for themselves,” said Trish.
As a working mother of “two rambunctious boys,” ages 10 and 13, who are involved in choir and sports, Trish counts on her father for support. “He helps out with them a lot,” said Trish. “I’m a single mom, so he is a father figure. I’m very thankful for him for that.”
Always one to acknowledge others, Bill added, “I have to say that I think Nana does more than I do, seriously. But we all pitch in. It’s a family thing. We help each other.”
As a member of TFCU for three years, Trish knows she can count on TFCU, too. “I switched over to Tinker after I’d had some bad experiences with other banks,” said Trish. “I love it and I will not switch to any other company, any other bank. I’ve been very happy.”
