Busy grandparents Alan and Charlotte Pierce of Edmond, OK, are the latest winners of the TFCU Great Auto Loan Payoff! “I’ve seen it in the newsletter,” said Charlotte. “I never dreamed it would happen to me and my husband!”
In 2022, the couple got a loan from TFCU for a new “Nana Van” (as the family fondly calls it) – a hybrid Toyota Sienna. Just a few months later, TFCU surprised Alan and Charlotte with the news their $38,711 loan was drawn at random from thousands of other active TFCU auto loans.
“That’s a lot of money!” said Alan. “Our first home was a little less than that.”
The couple have been married for 47 years with six children, four grandchildren and they are expecting three more grandchildren this year. Charlotte’s previous vehicle was a 10-year-old sedan with 180,000 miles. “I wanted to get a van so we could take our grandchildren and kids on trips,” said Charlotte. “I just bought three matching car seats for them.”
Alan and Charlotte have been TFCU members for 15 years. The couple use TFCU savings and checking accounts and their previous three auto loans have been with the credit union. “TFCU has good interest rates and is convenient,” said Charlotte. “We’ve always had a good experience with the loan officers.”
