TFCU Vice President of Financial Education: Heather Kay
Heather Kay has been with Tinker Federal Credit Union since 2018. She is the Vice President of Financial Education, following a career at OSU-Oklahoma City for 9 years as the Assistant Vice President of Business & Industry Training and 4 years as the Director of Student Center and Campus Events. Prior to that, she managed Greg Burns Fine Art Gallery for 14 years. Heather is a member of Leadership Oklahoma City Class 36, OKConnect Class 8, and serves on the board of Caring Communities, Reaching Our City, Federal Reserve Economic Education Advisory Council, Oklahoma Council on Economic Education and the John Marshall Finance Academy.
During her career, she has volunteered with such groups as the Oklahoma City Festival of the Arts and WesTen (Friends of Northwest 10th Street). Heather graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1992. Throughout a dynamic career that has intersected the worlds of both education administration and art; she has played instrumental roles bringing business, education and community initiatives to fruition for the betterment of the community.
