Eber Diaz de Leon and his family from Coweta, OK are the big winners of TFCU’s 2022 Storm Shelter Loan Payoff promotion. His loan was selected at random from all other TFCU active storm shelter loans in good standing, and his balance of $3,794 was paid in full. When asked what he thought when he learned he was the lucky winner, Eber said, “I didn’t believe it. I wanted to make sure it was true.”
After a tornado touched down near their home last year, Eber and Maria decided to get a storm shelter to protect themselves and their three children (ages one, three and nine). The storm shelter company they used recommended Tinker Federal Credit Union for financing because the credit union had the best loan rate. Their shelter was recently installed so the family would be ready for Oklahoma’s stormy spring season.
