One of the goals of the TFCU Foundation is to repair homes that belong to veterans and first responders who might have difficulty finding affordable resources for home repairs/accessibility adaptations. We’re ready to roll up our sleeves and do the work to make homes safe and comfortable for Oklahoma veterans and emergency responders.
We are proud to partner with local nonprofits that provide mental health, housing, education and employment services to Oklahoma veterans. We’re passionate about supporting initiatives that help veterans adjust to civilian life and make their dreams a reality.
We believe it’s important to connect veterans and first responders with services that may lie outside their local community. We’re here to connect them with resources that contribute to a successful, fulfilling quality of life.
In 2016, Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) sponsored projects to help build and renovate homes for disabled veterans. With a desire to continue to help local heroes, in 2018, TFCU created the TFCU Foundation to be the philanthropic entity of the credit union. Today, the TFCU Foundation continues to support our military, veterans and first responders thanks to the generous donations and volunteer support from TFCU members, employees and the community at large in Oklahoma.
Tinker Federal Credit Union covers the salaries and administrative costs for the foundation. That means your donated dollars are focused on serving veterans and first responders to provide better home accessibility, resources for mental health and employment, suicide prevention and education.
