In November, TFCU asked social media followers to nominate someone they were thankful for as they headed into the holiday season. If their story was chosen, their thankful nominee would receive a $300 Visa® gift card from TFCU.
Instantly, William Kinney of Choctaw, OK thought of the nearby Fur Ever Friends Rescue. “I have never met someone so pure and nice as Miss Diane (who leads the rescue). She manages 85 dogs at a time,” said William. “They work hard to find each adoptable dog a loving home.”
Jennifer Mosely, who has worked with Fur Ever Friends Rescue for three years, said that for about $352 they can feed all 85 dogs—with treats!—for about two days. It takes a lot of resources to care for the animals, until they find their forever home.
