OKLAHOMA CITY – Tinker Federal Credit Union Assistant Vice President Manager of Community Engagement Kristy Viravong-Portis has been awarded the 2015 Corporate Leader of the Year Award. Viravong-Portis was one of eight civic, community and business leaders recognized during the annual Women of Color Expo & Festival held Saturday, April 11, at the Metro Tech Business & Conference Center.
The Corporate Leader of the Year Award is given out every year to an individual who has shown tremendous leadership, hard work and dedication to the Oklahoma City community.
Viravong-Portis joined TFCU as a business development representative in 2006, serving the community and business partners of the west territory, including Bethany, Edmond, Enid, northwest Oklahoma City and surrounding areas. She was recently promoted to her current position. In this role, she has continued to explore growth opportunities and generate ideas to better serve the community and the credit union’s business partners.
