When Emily Wilson saw TFCU’s annual “Thankful for You” contest on social media, she knew exactly who she wanted to nominate. “I’m thankful every day for my husband Michael Wilson,” said Emily. “He works so hard for our little family with no complaints. He is my heart, my love, and truly my better half.”
When Michael saw Emily’s nomination of him on social media, “I was moved by it. You just kind of get in the routine of things, doing the work, and don’t stop to think about it. Truth be told, Emily has the harder job, while equally as rewarding.” Emily shared, “We have a son with special needs. Michael works very hard so I can stay home with him.”
Together, Emily and Michael received $400 in Visa® gift cards from TFCU’s “Thankful for You” contest. “It couldn’t be better timing,” said Michael. “We usually live just outside our income. It will go toward making sure our son, Mickey, has a nice Christmas.”
