Upon employment, all employees are eligible for ten (10) paid holidays.
Medical coverage is offered to all full-time employees on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. There are 2 plans to choose from which are offered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma.
Dental coverage is offered to all full-time employees the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. Benefits include routine cleanings paid at 100% twice a year. Other services are generally covered at 85% of usual and customary, after deductible.
Vision coverage is offered to all full-time employees the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment. Additional benefits and discounts are available.
TFCU offers employees the option to contribute to a retirement benefit plan. Employees may contribute up to 100% of their annual earnings, to the IRS maximum, beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. TFCU will match the employee’s contribution to a maximum of 5% with 1 year of service and 1,000 hours. Employees have several investment options and are immediately vested.
All eligible employees are automatically enrolled in our Target Benefit plan, which is fully-funded by TFCU, after 1 year of eligible employment, working 1000 hours or more and at least 21 years of age. 100% vested after 3 years. Contributions are based on the employee’s age, average annual salary, and years of service before regular retirement. Employees must be actively employed on 12/31 to receive the annual contribution.
Term life insurance is provided by TFCU at no cost to the employee the 1st of the month following 30 days of full-time employment equal to 2.5 times annual earnings, up to a maximum of $200,000.
On the 1st of the month following 30 days of full-time employment, employees may purchase a Supplemental Life and AD&D policy in increments of $10,000 to a maximum of 5 times their earnings up to $500,000. Premiums are age rated.
Employees purchasing the Supplemental Life may purchase Dependent Life Insurance up to $100,000 for spouses and $10,000 for dependent children. Premiums are age rated.
On the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment, all part-time and full-time employees may elect to have up to $2,650 withheld on a pre-tax basis from their check for unreimbursed medical and/or up to $5,000 for dependent care expenses.
On the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment, part-time and full-time employees may purchase supplemental policies offered by AFLAC with pre-taxed dollars through payroll deduction.
TFCU pays premiums for short term and long term disability insurance for full-time employees after 1 year of employment.
After 2 months of employment, part-time and full-time employees are eligible for annual leave accrual on a biweekly basis.
After 4 months of employment, full-time and part-time employees are eligible to receive a percent of their compensation if the company’s annual goals are met. If earned, incentives will be paid to eligible employees on a quarterly or annual basis, depending on position.
TFCU has three on-site fitness centers located at the Midwest City branch, the Operations Center and the Metropolitan Corporate Offices in Oklahoma City. All employees are eligible for fitness center membership upon employment for a nominal fee per pay period.
